Job Description
|
|
As a Standardized Patient / Healthcare Actor/Actress, you will:
- Learn and play the character for specific cases as accurately as possible and to observe and then document the student's competencies
- Train for specific cases to be performed on the day of an Objective Standardized Clinical Exam (OSCE) and learn requirements for completing checklists
- Perform a case during an OSCE in a standardized manner
- Complete online checklist for each student/resident seen to evaluate his/her competencies

Required Skills
|
- 1+ years relevant experience
- 18+ years old or older
- Able to portray cases as trained in an accurate, standardized way
- Excellent communication skills
- Agree to be videotaped
- Willing to have a non-invasive physical exam done by a medical student/resident during the portrayal of a case

Desired Skills
|
- Acting experience and/or previous experience as a standardized patient
- Knowledge or experience in the healthcare field
- Experience in teaching or communications field
