Edward Fleischman is the founder and CEO of The Execu|Search Group. He started the firm in 1985 with a focus on serving accounting firms, boutique hedge funds, and private equity funds. Execu|Search has since grown to become an industry-leading professional recruitment and temporary staffing firm serving multiple industries.

Prior to starting Execu|Search, Ed, a CPA, was the Director of Human Resources for Spicer & Oppenheim, an international accounting firm based in New York. He also served as a senior member of a national recruiting firm after beginning his career in public accounting.

A firm believer in professional ethics, Ed is proud that The Execu|Search Group is held to the highest standards in the marketplace. Ed regularly counsels the firm’s clients in strategic senior-level hiring, structuring of compensation packages, and human resource issues. He has also spoken on issues around staffing and recruitment at numerous conferences and events for organizations such as ABN AMRO, Infovest21, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and The International Group of Accounting Firms.

Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and two children.
