A long-term care center is currently seeking a bright and compassionate COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) for an excellent opportunity in the Boston area.  You will be assisting patients with all aspects of occupational therapy.

Long Term Care Center

As the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be assisting with all aspects of occupational therapy for geriatric clients. The COTA:

• Helps and assists patients in their daily exercises and activities they do in order to develop their self-abilities
• Monitors patient’s activities to make sure that they are performed correctly
• Writes up an observation and progress reports about the patient’s improvement
• The occupational therapist assistant prepares the materials and equipments during treatment
• Performs clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, and answering phones

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Experience with a variety of occupational therapy evaluations including sensory profiles and assessments of visual-motor and developmental motor skills
• Organized, efficient and able to self-manage to meet deadlines
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent time-management skills- can work part-time, full-time, nights and weekends
