A healthcare provider near White Plains, NY is currently hiring a New York State licensed Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Nurse Educator position. The Critical Care Nurse Educator (RN) will be responsible for planning, developing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing and other clinical staff. The Critical Care Nurse Educator (RN) will also:

• Coordinate all phases of orientation for new nursing employees
• On-going staff development
• Coordinate, conduct, and evaluate programs that will assist in meeting the needs of nursing personnel
• Participate on performance improvement teams/projects
• Provide input into nursing education budget formulation
• Communicate and collaborate with nursing unit leadership in planning new programs

• Masters degree in Nursing or related field
• Current New York State RN license
• 5+ years of education experience
• Solid critical care experience
• Knowledge of CCU/ICU
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
