A prominent healthcare center in New Jersey is seeking an Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to join its team on the night shift. The individual in this position will be responsible for performing assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the patient’s physiologic, psychological and cognitive statuses.

As the ER Nurse (RN), you will:

• Perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status
• Function as a Registered Professional Nurse using the outcome based practice model by demonstrating competency in clinical judgment, select technical skills and appropriate knowledge base
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner, utilizing procedures, protocols, standards of care, and education of patients and significant others
• Evaluate effectiveness of care toward desired outcomes in progressing patients toward a predefined length of stay
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses with Interpretive Statements
• Adhere to Professional Practice Standards, using outcome based practice model and the American Nurses Association indicators as guidelines
• Utilize and participate in current research findings in the care of patients and families following standards of care, policies and procedures, and protocols

• NJ Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of hospital ER experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
