Asset Management Firm

Responsibilities of the Fund Accountant will include:

• Handling the monthly close process
• Preparing monthly financial statements, capital statements, and investor returns
• Assisting in the valuation of commercial mortgages, subordinate debt, and direct equity investment in real estate
• Maintaining financial covenants model
• Managing daily cash flows of the fund including preparing borrowing and pay-down request on financing lines
• Assisting with interim and year-end audits including preparing footnotes for financial statements
• Handling ad hoc request from management and investment team

• 2+ years straight public accounting experience
• BA/BS in Accounting
• CPA or parts passed
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Pro-active
