Occupational Therapists provide screening, evaluation, and therapy services as assigned and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and develop appropriate treatment plans for children. Therapists will provide consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs. They will also provide counseling to families regarding their child’s motor development and stimulation. As required, therapists will participate in in-service training and supervision and seek professional growth by updating knowledge and skills pertinent to performance of job responsibilities. The Occupational Therapist will maintain and make available all records and reports required by the OT/PT department and Agency as well as perform other assigned duties as defined and directed by the OT/PT supervisor.
