|
As the Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:
- Legal Assistant duties for a 3 attorney legal department in a real estate development firm
- Preparing closings for purchases, sales, financing transactions, leases and litigation pleadings, sending faxes, typing documents using a Dictaphone, sorting mail received daily, scanning, filing, and copying
- Document management
- Maintaining calendars
- Maintaining trust account
- Interfacing with clients, customers, attorneys, tenants, lenders

Required Skills
|
- 5+ years of experience with emphasis in commercial real estate transactions
- Background and experience in Litigation in the New Jersey Superior Court and Federal Courts in addition to the real estate skills
- Excellent typist, minimum 80 words per minute with accuracy
- Experienced on both MS Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational abilities - maintain diary, tickler system, schedule appointments and assist a 3 lawyer legal staff
- Able to deal directly by phone and in person with clients, lenders, tenants, attorneys and courts
- Willing and able to assume responsibilities of an executive secretary to senior management of a growing and vibrant real estate development firm
