A Medical Center in New York City is seeking to hire a Physical Therapist. The individual in this position will be responsible for abiding by the standards, job descriptions, policies and procedures of the assigned hospital, division.

As the Physical Therapist, you will:

• Repot to the director of the physical therapy department in assigned facility
• Abide by the standards, job descriptions, policies and procedures of the assigned hospital, division
• Perform work following the standards of practice established by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Apply computer knowledge and proofreading abilities to complete physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy treatments to a broad base patient population
• Initiate develop and evaluate physical therapy plans of care
• Test, measure, strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performances, respiration and motor functions of a diverse population of patients

• Knowledge of State PT practice guidelines
• Knowledge of PT standards of practice
• Strict adherence to HIPAA
• Knowledge of the policies for the National Patient Safety Goals
• Strict Adherence to CDC Hand Washing
• Ability to apply Pain Management objective measurements Working Conditions
• Ability to lift, turn, stand and walk patients
• Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, kneel, crunch
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to move heavy equipment
• Exposure to ill patient's blood and various body fluids
