Healthcare Facility


The Pediatric Nurse Manager (RN) will:

  • Provide written and verbal instructions to staff documenting and updating any changes in care regimen following a hospitalization or medical visit
  • Observe and document on the general health of the children in the home at least every seven days or any time a change occurs
  • Perform a complete physical assessment on each child weekly and document, unless a child’s medical condition requires more frequent evaluations
  • Report changes in the medical condition of any child to the Director of Nursing, treating primary pediatrician, House Administrator, and the Program Director
  • Maintain communication with the Director of Nursing, Director of Social Services, and House Administrator continuously on all aspects of care and changes to care and treatment
  • Update and complete the monthly treatment plan for presentation at the monthly case conference and provide formal medical information on each child at monthly case conferences
  • Maintain medical, organizational, and governmental records on each child as dictated by organization and the funding and/or regulatory agencies
  • Provide orientation, medical supervision, and on-going training to the licensed practical nurses and child health care workers related to achieving the daily health needs and overall wellness of children
  • Coordinate and document CPR certification, TB testing, and current physical for all staff


  • Active New Jersey State Registered Nurse license
  • 2+ years of direct care experience providing health care services to pediatric patients
  • Strong medical skills and knowledge
